Following the success and enjoyment of last year's sporting action during the St. Patrick's Festival, this year's programme has even more to
offer. Our specially designed festival of sport has something for everyone – competitive, recreational or otherwise. Play as a team, compete
as an individual, renew 'friendly' rivalries between Queen's and UUJ or simply come along and enjoy the craic. Even if you haven't tried some
of the activities before, gather up and few friends to have a go. What better way to prepare yourself for the social evening ahead! Superb
team and individual prizes to be won.
Enrolment deadline for all events Friday 11 March.
Five–A–Side Football Competition
Men's, women's and mixed teams are encouraged to attend. With team and spot prizes available, there will be
plenty to play for. Teams should have no more than 7 named players. Further tournament details will be
forwarded to all teams that register by the closing date.
Watersports Coaching & Challenges
If you are an experienced 'water baby' or recreational paddler the water sports challenge is designed to test your
abilities in all disciplines. Our experienced student club members will be on hand to instruct and coach so don't
worry if you have never tried any of the activities before. Now is your chance!
Dodge Ball
You've seen the movie now play the game. Gather 6 friends and get ready to rumble as Dodge Ball returns to
Belfast for the St Patrick's Student Festival. Held under National Amateur Dodge Ball Association Rules, further
details will be circulated to all teams that enter. Teams may be mixed or single sex. Prizes
for winning teams, spot prizes for the best dressed team and fancy dress outfits will make this an event not
to be missed.
Climbing Wall
Whether you are experienced or a complete beginner at climbing, instructors will be on hand to develop and
improve your skills. Throughout the evening there will be demonstrations from the experts, spot prizes, guest
appearances and much more. No need to book, just come along and join in the fun.
